First we will need to improve the model. We think we would need to invest to access more data, and doing this, we hope we could beat the 15% industry error threshold.

If the model works, we would then invest in the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market API to update the data daily.

Security and updated forecasting

The WEMS API would allow to get daily updates of the energy prices from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market. The API would run via Amazon API Gateway. The new information would be used by the model via a lambda function and AWS Sagemaker to produce new forecasting results.

The results would be presented through a Tableau server integrated in AWS cloud.
